When is a name deleted?
- at the registrar's request;
- after a court decision;
- after an expert's decision in the alternative dispute resolution procedure;
- at the end of an unsuccessful verification procedure;
- automatically, 60 days after expiry if it has not been renewed.
After deletion
The name falls back into the public domain and can be registered by a new applicant.
Recovering an expired name
Contact your registrar at once: renewal remains possible during the expiry period described on the Renewal page.
